RAJPURA: Unverified social media claims that two women students were missing from Chitkara University’s hostel triggered a night-long protest at its Rajpura campus on Friday. The unrest escalated when some members of the crowd allegedly damaged police vehicles and university property. Police and university authorities said they had found no evidence that any student was missing or had died.
